Graduation June 2020
In light of the current situation, and the expert advice we are receiving on a daily basis, we have had to take the very difficult decision to cancel all of our June graduation ceremonies, therefore our Graduation Ball has also regrettably been canceled. While we understand this will be very disappointing for students and their families, the health and wellbeing of our University community – and the general public – is of paramount importance and must be our primary concern.
We hope to still celebrate with you at a later date – with plans being put in place to invite you to future ceremonies and to hold a Graduation Ball at a later date.
Our University Finance Team have advised that all Graduation Ball tickets will be refunded automatically within the next 2 weeks. You do not need to do anything to obtain your refund. A refund will be processed to the card/account originally used for payment and this should be completed no later than Thursday 9th April 2020.
We are exploring options to be able to hold the Graduation Ball at a later date to coincide with new ceremony dates. Further details will be provided in due course, as our planning progresses.
Yes. If you have made an accommodation booking, either directly with the University or via a third-party online travel agent (e.g. booking.com), you will receive a full refund when you cancel the booking.
To cancel your booking contact email@example.com or your online travel agent with the booking details. If you paid in advance, your purchasing card will be refunded – alternatively, you will not be charged.
Please note that it may take a little longer than usual to process your refund, however, we are striving to do this as quickly as possible.
